At last we have a Tory MP in a position of power, who will say what he believes rather than pandering to political correctness!
Some people see him as a bumbling buffoon – an opinion the media seem to want to enforce, but I believe he is an eccentric yet intelligent man who should be the leader of the Conservative party – in the absence of Carol Thatcher who would be a fantastic leader!
I just hope the media give him a chance to prove himself before slating him – thus giving all the red-top readers their opinions of him.
We need more characters in politics to get the proletariat interested in politics again – we need politicians to believe they are accountable to their voters, and that requires the voters to be interested in policies and the media to start reporting facts and stop writing conjecture and opinion.
Hopefully, Boris will go someway to igniting interest in politics once again!
