Written by Sports personality of the year is a complete farce – the majority of excellent sport stars don’t have a personality – and that is why they achieve so much in their chosen sport.
The proper title should be sports achievement of the year – after all, that is what people vote on.
Unfortunately, I am fairly confident who will win it this year – and he doesn’t deserve it.
