Written by I have updated the photos on this website to show as a slideshow rather than a fairly annoying list of thumbnails.
The technology used is Ajax rather than flash – it is less restrictive than flash can be and doesn’t rely on either the user having a flash player or me downloading a skin to embed the player in the website.
It is also easier for me to control as I don’t have to edit a flash slideshow every time I want to add or delete photos.
Personally I am really pleased – but I now need to work out how to add the watermark feature – not sure I can. It will be interesting to see!
