Does no-one understand the simple concept of slip roads on the A12? Seriously, because I am fed up with twazocks trying to kill me everyday just because they don’t understand a simple law of the road.
If you are joining a dual carriageway or motorwayfrom a slip road, you give way. You don’t just pull out regardless of whether there is space or not. You use the common sense we all hope you were born with and you evaluate the traffic speed and adjust your oncoming speed to match that…it’s really not fucking rocket science yet there are some dumb fucks out there.
I’ve had to take evasive action to stop being sideswiped, and to cap it all tonight, some idiot was going at about 10mph to get onto the A12, I couldn’t move over due to traffic, yet this idiot kept coming and tried to force me over – which couldn’t happen, then joined the A12 at 10mph forcing someone else behind me to have to swerve. This guy coming on too slowly had an easy view of the A12 and could have easily adjusted his speed to fit with the main traffic.

These are the people that need to be prosecuted by the police – not people doing 90pmh at 11pm.

Oh, and something else that really pisses me off…and this is just a courtesy thing. If you know the A12, you know there are some very short slip roads from junctions and garages. If I see a lorry or car waiting to exit a petrol station or junction up ahead and there’s nothing in the outside lane, I move over. This then allows the stationary vehicle space to join the main road and get up to speed without worrying about holding the traffic up. It amazes me how many people don’t do this. Are they just not considerate, or more worryingly, do they just no notice a massive fuck off truck waiting to join the traffic…
